The usual horror film target audiences are usually male. As our teaser trailer storyline is about bullying, we decided to aim our audience at not only males but also females who enjoy watching horror films. The target age of our teaser trailer will be the ages of 18+ as the horror genre and the storyline would appeal to this age.
Our ideal target audience will be young, retro and urban. We chose retro because some of the films we used in our mood boards were quite old and retro films films such as the Texas chain saw massacre and a nightmare on Elm Street.
